The Hollowbodies are a rock band from Toronto whose big hooks and sing-along choruses characterize their long-awaited sophomore album When the Lights Go Out. The follow up to the folky Town Without a Name simultaneously brings more grit and polish than its predecessor. After releasing the album with two sold-out shows at Toronto’s Burdock, the band took to the road to play the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville in September 2016.

Recently, ‘Malibu’ has received some radio play in Ontario, while other tracks have been featured in indie films. Following the release of their debut album in 2012, the band was a finalist in CBC’s Playlist for the Planet songwriting competition, were selected to play the emerging artist stage at the Boots and Hearts Music festival in 2012 and 2013, and played numerous shows and showcases in between.
